These gummy vitamins have not a bad flavour but not my favourite, they are easy to take and provide me with the necessary vitamins to help grow my hair out postpartum. I have had no digestive upsets with these vitamins and take them with a meal! It is not the biggest bottle so it won't last the longest, I normally prefer to get the bigger value bottles. These are great for anyone with brittle nails or hair, or trying to grow Their hair out!
I've been looking for a vegan hair skin and nails vitamin for a while, and this one is great. Though it smells a little funky when you first open it, the actual flavour is great and easy to eat. How could you go wrong with gummy vitamins?
- For me, when it comes to vitamins/ supplements, my first rule of thumb is to take less than the recommended dosage. The reason is to see how your body reacts to it. If there are no side effects, then you can increase slowly to the recommended dose. As for biotin, during my search, I found that what you need would only be around 30-100 mcg biotin per day, unless you need strengthening then a minimum dose of 2000mcg is often advised. So depends on your need, you may not need 2 gummies (2500mcg biotin total) per day. Taking 2500 mcg biotin, I do feel a noticeable growth of my nails. So biotin supplements work.
These gummies from Smoky Mountain Naturals has a pleasant lemony taste. These gummies contains ingrediences that are good for hair and skin. The most important is Biotin, of course. Our family has been adding Biotin to our diets in various forms for a while now and it does seem to help skin and hair. Biotin in a gummy form is a very nice way to add it to our diet for a slightly higher cost verus Biotin tablets.
I won't lie it's a very prominent lemon taste. If you can get past that it ain't bad. Decent size bottle good price I'd say this is a great bargain.
